Shriram Panda was one of the most popular Oriya Movie star. He served as an actor, director, screenplay writer in Oriya Film Industry in a career span of 20 years.

Life and Career
Shriram Panda Satrted his film carrer in his first movie Dhir Biswal's Dharitri directed by Nitai Palit in 1972, whaich was agreat success at that time. From Dharitri, he never looked back and emerged as one of the ever green film star of orissa in 80's and 90's. In 1992, at the top of his carrer, he surprisingly left the film industries and joined in Bihar School of Yoga at Munner, Bihar state of India as Yoga precher and renamed himself as Swami Nitya Chaitanya. Recently he confessed in a press statement, the cuase of his quit from Oriya Cinema and his new Avtar as a Monk.
He has written ,Directed and Produced the movie Kurukshetra (1988).
Personal Life
he is married to coactress Tripura Mishra.
